Storyline:

This sequel to "Along with the Gods: The Two Worlds" shows Su-hong and his three Afterlife Guardians making their adventure through the 49th trial, in order for all four of them to achieve their reincarnation. Through the Household God in the living world, the Guardians also begin to reclaim their forgotten memories.

My Take:

Along With the Gods: The Last 49 Days (2018) is one of South Korea's blockbuster movies. This sequel focuses on the three guardians who guarded the soul of the fireman. It can be confusing to watch because the story has three different narrative threads, jumping from one tone to another. But as the story goes, the viewers can follow the flow of the story.
